Three of them (Beklemishevskaya, Vodovzvodnaya and Corner Arsenal) are standing in the corners of the Kremlin triangle and have a circular cross section, the rest of the towers are square.

The Kremlin Wall is a defensive wall that surrounds the Moscow Kremlin, recognizable by the characteristic notches and its towers.

The original walls were likely a simple wooden fence with guard towers built in 1156.

Most of the towers are made in the same architectural style, given to them in the second half of the XVII century. Of the total ensemble stands St. Nicholas Tower, which at the beginning of the XIX century was rebuilt in the Gothic style.

The following is a list of towers of Moscow Kremlin. The list is made from the southeastern side of the Kremlin wall counterclockwise.
