Time Out Prize Winner

Restaurant prize of the international journal Time Out has been granted from 1989.

The first ceremony Eating & Drinking Awards took place in London, followed by New York, Istanbul and Dubai. From 2006 on, Moscow restaurants have been applying for this award.

In the Russian capital a prize “Menu & Bill” is awarded by Time Out Moscow based on popular vote and surveys of experts.

The Chief

A female chef is a rarity. And we are proud that for many years the kitchen at “Shinok” has been successfully run by a talented professional Elena Nikolaevna Nikiforova.

She graduated from the Institute of National Economy specializing in nutrition technology.

For almost twenty years she worked at the Ministry of Defense organizing catering for top officers at the headquarters, and then in the systems of public catering at GUM, Moscow State University and MGIMO University.  

The whole family visits “Shinok”

From 1 to 5 pm a room for kids is open in the restaurant. There, under the motto “The beauty of Nature”, little guests of the restaurant learn how to make various objects from natural materials, draw and shape with plasticine, as well as make small paper and clay copies of animals inhabiting our “Atrium”.

Boys and girls will learn what is decoupage and norigami.
